Welcome to the Henniker Community Profile

This is a one and a half day event which we hope every town resident will attend. It’s purpose is to identify what residents feel is special about our town and to identify issues which need to be addressed to preserve these qualities while looking ahead to plan for the future. There is much to be discussed while enjoying good food and community.

This is your opportunity to be heard and to make a difference in our great town!

Henniker Community Profile is:

· Open to all Henniker residents and business owners

· A process to take stock of today and identify action plans for tomorrow

· A method for citizens to affirm community strengths, find collaborative approaches to meet community challenges, and manage change.

· The last Henniker Community Profile gave birth to such programs as the Community Outlook, The White Birch Dial A Ride, and contributed to the Henniker Master Plan.

This special event for ALL Henniker residents is your chance to:

· Voice your concerns, dreams and visions for our town in a friendly, cooperative, non-political setting

· Hear what other Henniker residents think about our community and its future direction

· Help develop ideas for improving our community, and action plans for making those ideas a reality

This Community Profile is facilitated by University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension in partnership with the Town of Henniker.  UNH Cooperative Extension is an equal opportunity educator and employer. UNH, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture and New Hampshire counties cooperating.
